Mangools Alternative: SEOJuice vs Mangools (2026)

Mangools alternative for 2026: Mangools does keyword research and rank tracking; SEOJuice applies the on-page work to your live site from $29/mo.

Updated Jul 19, 2026 ·9 min read

TL;DR: Mangools and SEOJuice both start at $29/month, but they solve different problems. Mangools is the better choice for approachable keyword research, SERP analysis, backlink research, and daily rank tracking; SEOJuice is the better choice if you want software connected to your site continuously applying internal links, metadata, schema, and image alt text. Calling SEOJuice a complete Mangools replacement would be misleading. It replaces the manual execution layer, not KWFinder’s keyword database.

Pricing verified against Mangools’ official pricing page, July 2026.

What Mangools Gets Right

Mangools makes SEO research unusually approachable. That sounds like faint praise until you have watched someone open a larger SEO suite, click through six dashboards, and still fail to answer a basic question about which keyword to target.

KWFinder is the strongest part of the suite. It surfaces long-tail keywords, search volume, historical volume, long-term trends, Keyword Difficulty scores, autocomplete and question-style suggestions, and keywords associated with competitor domains. Location targeting covers more than 65,000 locations across countries and districts, with support for multiple languages. That granularity matters for local SEO, where national averages can conceal the market you actually serve.

The interface advantage is supported by more than vendor copy. Capterra gives Mangools 4.8/5 across 92 reviews, and ease of use is one of the strengths repeatedly associated with the product. A G2 listing snippet reports 4.7/5 from approximately 95 reviews, with 84% of ratings at five stars. The Capterra figure was verified directly; the G2 figure deserves more caution because its review page could not be fetched cleanly during verification.

Ratings do not prove that every search-volume estimate is correct. They do show that buyers consistently value the product experience, and Mangools’ clean interface is a practical advantage for founders, bloggers, freelancers, and small agencies (less dashboard archaeology is useful).

Mangools is not just KWFinder. Every paid tier includes five tools:

  • KWFinder for keyword discovery and difficulty analysis.
  • SERPChecker for localized search-result analysis using roughly 49 SEO metrics per result.
  • SERPWatcher for daily keyword rank tracking, estimated visits, alerts, and its Dominance Index.
  • LinkMiner for backlink analysis powered by the Majestic link index.
  • SiteProfiler for authority metrics, top content, competitor snapshots, and backlink summaries.

That is a substantial research toolkit at the reported $29/month Entry tier. Mangools also has a free plan with 5 lookups per 24 hours according to its own KWFinder page, plus a 10-day Free+ trial with elevated limits and no credit card. Paid plans have a 48-hour money-back guarantee.

Trustpilot offers another signal, though a less certain one. Search snippets showed Mangools at approximately 4.6/5 from roughly 160+ reviews. The displayed score varied between 4.6 and 4.7 across available pages, so neither the decimal nor count should be treated as permanent. For an additional cross-check, Findstack reports its own blended score of 4.6/5 from 62 users, but that is not a substitute for the platform-specific Capterra or G2 results.

I would not pretend SEOJuice beats this keyword-research experience. It does not. If your main task is evaluating long-tail variants, checking the current SERP, and building a content brief, Mangools is the more appropriate tool.

How Mangools Works

Mangools is a research and rank-tracking suite. You enter a keyword, URL, or domain and receive information you can use to make an SEO decision.

You might use KWFinder to identify a lower-difficulty query, inspect the ranking pages in SERPChecker, check a competing domain in SiteProfiler, and investigate its links with LinkMiner. After publishing, you can add the target query to SERPWatcher and monitor its ranking daily.

The important boundary is that Mangools stops at the report. It does not connect to your live site or modify it. If the research tells you to improve a title, add an internal link, write schema markup, or fill missing image alt text, you make that change somewhere else.

That is not necessarily a flaw. Some teams explicitly separate analysis from publishing access. If an SEO specialist produces recommendations and developers or editors implement them, Mangools fits that workflow cleanly. Keeping research software away from production can be a deliberate control rather than a missing feature.

Where Mangools Falls Short

The biggest limitation is the distance between finding an opportunity and shipping the change.

Mangools can show you what ranks, which query looks attractive, and how rankings change. It cannot add a link between two relevant pages, rewrite a weak meta description, apply structured data, or add missing alt text. Those jobs remain in your CMS, ticket tracker, or the spreadsheet nobody wants to own.

I know this failure mode because I have created those spreadsheets. Research feels productive, so collecting more of it is easy while last month’s recommendations remain unimplemented (and the spreadsheet keeps looking impressively busy).

Mangools also has no technical SEO crawler or site-audit feature. It does not crawl your site for technical issues, broken links, indexation problems, or Core Web Vitals. Increv’s Mangools review documents this limitation too. If technical auditing is central to your process, you will need another tool.

Usage is metered per 24 hours. The reported Entry plan permits 25 keyword lookups and 25 SERP lookups per day. Basic raises each allowance to 100 per day, while Premium raises each to 500. The figures used here reflect the consensus across TooledMarketer, Increv, SpotSaaS, and MasterBlogging; one conflicting tier mapping was excluded.

The tracked-keyword limits are 50 on Entry, 200 on Basic, 700 on Premium, and 1,500 on Agency. LinkMiner is capped by monthly rows as well, from 25,000 on Entry to 1,200,000 on Agency. These limits can be perfectly adequate for a small site, but a consultant conducting repeated client research may hit the lower daily ceilings.

Mangools’ marketed database scale is smaller than the largest SEO suites. The cited figures are roughly 2.5 billion keywords and a link index of about 9.5 trillion links through Majestic. Increv compares those marketing-scale figures with approximately 21.9 billion keywords and 35 trillion links for Ahrefs, and approximately 25 billion keywords for Semrush. These are vendor claims rather than an independently measured, apples-to-apples benchmark, so I treat them as directional. Teams requiring the deepest possible historical, keyword, or backlink data may still find Mangools limiting.

SEOJuice: A Different Model

SEOJuice is built around execution rather than standalone research. You install it through a JavaScript snippet or WordPress/CMS plugin, point it at your live site, and it continuously applies on-site improvements.

That includes internal links, meta titles and descriptions, schema markup, and image alt text. SEOJuice also generates complete AI article drafts rather than only metadata snippets. Paid plans include 5, 15, or 30 AI articles per month, depending on the tier.

It surfaces ongoing data too: keyword tracking, SERP monitoring, competitor monitoring, site analytics, and Google Business Profile on the Startup plan. The distinction is not “data versus no data.” It is a specialist research suite that hands implementation back to you versus monitoring paired with continuous on-site execution.

For our two-person team, that execution model is the point. Lida and I migrated SEOJuice from seojuice.io to .com in January 2026 while continuing to build and operate the product. We do not have a separate SEO operations department waiting to process recommendations. Automation matters because the alternative is usually me promising to fix the metadata later (future Vadim rarely appreciates that promise).

That experience gives me a bias worth stating: I care more about shipped changes than another polished report. It does not make research unimportant, and it certainly does not make SEOJuice a deeper keyword tool.

SEOJuice is not a substitute for KWFinder’s long-tail discovery, localized database, or Keyword Difficulty workflow. Its tracking and SERP monitoring do not turn it into Mangools’ five-tool research suite. A team can reasonably use Mangools to select targets and SEOJuice to implement and maintain on-site changes.

Pricing Comparison

Both products have a $29 monthly starting point, but that coincidence hides the more useful distinction. Mangools packages all five research tools together and limits activity through daily lookups, tracked keywords, backlink rows, and seats. SEOJuice uses fixed monthly tiers for a defined live-site workload, including pages, sites, images, generated articles, tracked keywords, SERP fetches, and monitored competitors.

SEOJuice’s pricing is flat within each tier: everything listed for that tier is included, with no per-document, per-fix, or per-seat overage billing. You still need a plan whose limits fit the site, but the bill does not increase because the automation applied another internal link (useful for predictable budgeting).

Product and tier Monthly price Annual price per month Selected limits
Mangools Entry $29 Approximately $19 25 keyword lookups per 24h, 25 SERP lookups per 24h, 50 tracked keywords, 25,000 LinkMiner rows per month, 1 login.
Mangools Basic $49 $29.90 100 keyword lookups per 24h, 100 SERP lookups per 24h, 200 tracked keywords, 100,000 LinkMiner rows per month, 1 login.
Mangools Premium $69 $44.90 500 keyword lookups per 24h, 500 SERP lookups per 24h, 700 tracked keywords, 500,000 LinkMiner rows per month, 3 logins.
Mangools Agency $129 Approximately $80–90 1,200 keyword lookups per 24h, 1,200 SERP lookups per 24h, 1,500 tracked keywords, 1,200,000 LinkMiner rows per month. Seat reporting varies between sources.
SEOJuice Freelance $29 $24 300 pages, 1 site, 1 seat, 5 AI articles per month, 10 tracked keywords, 250 images, 50 SERP fetches per day, 2 monitored competitors.
SEOJuice Starter $89 $69 3,000 pages, 3 sites, 3 seats, 15 AI articles per month, 30 keywords, 1,500 images, 100 SERP fetches per day, 5 competitors.
SEOJuice Startup $129 $99 6,000 pages, 5 sites, 5 seats, 30 AI articles per month, 50 keywords, 3,000 images, 200 SERP fetches per day, 10 competitors, Google Business Profile.
SEOJuice Growth $299 Not stated 10,000 pages.
SEOJuice Scale $499 Not stated 20,000 pages.
SEOJuice Enterprise $1,199 Not stated 50,000 pages.

The Mangools Entry tier is the least certain row here. It appears in two independent pricing sources, MasterBlogging and Ecommerce Paradise, while several other reviews still show only Basic, Premium, and Agency. Agency annual pricing is disputed across sources, ranging from $79.90 to $89.90 per month. I would check both directly before purchasing rather than trusting a comparison page, including this one.

Both products offer a free option. Mangools’ free plan provides 5 lookups per 24 hours, with approximately 15 related and 5 competitor keywords per lookup. Sites under 100 pages can use SEOJuice free with no credit card required, giving you a low-commitment way to test the automation and data on your own site.

Where Mangools Wins

  • Keyword discovery: KWFinder is purpose-built for finding and evaluating long-tail opportunities.
  • Localized research: Its support for more than 65,000 locations is a meaningful advantage for local campaigns.
  • Dedicated rank tracking: SERPWatcher offers daily tracking, alerts, estimated visits, and its Dominance Index.
  • Backlink analysis: LinkMiner provides access to Majestic-powered backlink information that SEOJuice does not offer.
  • Research UI: Mangools is easier to approach than many large SEO suites.
  • Tracked-keyword capacity: Mangools starts with 50 tracked keywords on the reported Entry tier, compared with 10 on SEOJuice Freelance.

Where SEOJuice Wins

  • Implementation: SEOJuice connects to the live site and continuously applies changes rather than stopping at recommendations.
  • Internal linking: Relevant internal links can be applied without manually editing individual pages.
  • On-page maintenance: Meta titles, descriptions, schema markup, and image alt text are handled within the same automation model.
  • Content production: Paid plans include AI article generation.
  • Ongoing data: Keyword tracking, SERP monitoring, competitor monitoring, and site analytics sit alongside the execution layer.
  • Multi-site execution: Starter supports 3 sites and Startup supports 5, with corresponding page and seat allowances.
  • Google Business Profile: This is included on the Startup plan.
  • Predictable billing: Each tier has a fixed monthly price rather than billing per generated document, applied fix, lookup, or seat overage.

Who Should Use What

Choose Mangools if keyword research is the main bottleneck. It is particularly sensible if you want a clean workflow for finding long-tail terms, assessing a SERP, examining backlinks, and tracking a substantial list of rankings afterward.

It also fits teams that intentionally separate analysis from implementation. An agency can use Mangools to produce recommendations, then hand them to a client, editor, or developer.

Choose SEOJuice if implementation is where your SEO work gets stuck. If you already know the site needs better internal links, metadata, schema, and image alt text, another research report may not change much. Connecting automation to the site is the more direct fix.

Using both is not redundant. Mangools can help determine what deserves attention. SEOJuice can handle recurring on-site execution. I am confident that is the fairest framing of this comparison; I am less confident in any claim that one product fully replaces the other.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is SEOJuice a complete Mangools alternative?

No. SEOJuice is a Mangools alternative for buyers primarily seeking automated SEO execution, but it does not replace KWFinder’s keyword database, SERPChecker’s research workflow, or LinkMiner’s backlink analysis. Mangools reports opportunities. SEOJuice connects to your site and applies specific on-page improvements.

Which tool is better for keyword research?

Mangools. KWFinder includes long-tail discovery, Keyword Difficulty, historical volume, trends, question and autocomplete suggestions, competitor-domain research, and localization across more than 65,000 locations. SEOJuice does not offer an equivalent keyword-research database.

Which tool requires less manual SEO work?

SEOJuice. It continuously auto-applies internal links, meta titles and descriptions, schema markup, and image alt text after installation through a JavaScript snippet or WordPress/CMS plugin. Mangools does not connect to or modify your site.

Do Mangools and SEOJuice have free plans?

Yes. Mangools provides 5 lookups per 24 hours on its free plan and offers a 10-day Free+ trial without a credit card. SEOJuice also has a free plan with no credit card required.

Which one is cheaper?

Both have a $29 monthly starting tier. Mangools Entry is reported at approximately $19 per month with annual billing, while SEOJuice Freelance is $24 per month with annual billing. The actual value depends on whether you need research allowances or automated work across live pages.

Bottom Line

Mangools is a strong, affordable research suite with a particularly good keyword-research interface. Its Capterra and G2 ratings reinforce the case that buyers value its approachable design. If you are comfortable handling implementation yourself, or have someone responsible for it, Mangools gives you useful data without the complexity of a larger platform.

SEOJuice addresses a different failure point: recommendations you understand but have not shipped. We started our pricing at $9 and moved to $29 because continuously changing a live site is a materially different job from producing another dashboard.

If research is missing, pick Mangools. If execution is missing, pick SEOJuice. If both are missing, using the two together is more sensible than forcing either product to do a job it was not built for.
